Cyber Security Mid Market Sales Account Executive

Role Overview As a Security Sales Senior Manager, you will spearhead Accenture Security’s growth strategy for Midmarket clients, with USA as the primary focus and the engine driving regional expansion. In this high‑impact, client‑facing role, you will originate, shape, and close cybersecurity deals that leverage the Accenture Cybersecurity Midmarket offerings. Key Responsibilities Lead the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification to deal shaping and negotiation—focused on high‑value, complex security solutions for Midmarket clients. Own and deliver Midmarket security sales targets and revenue growth. Build and manage a robust pipeline of high‑value opportunities. Lead complex, consultative sales cycles and contract negotiations. Build trusted relationships with C‑suite and senior stakeholders to uncover strategic security needs and influence buying decisions. Help develop strategic accounts and partner‑led opportunities. Position security offerings against regulatory, resilience, and risk drivers. Work seamlessly with Market Unit and Global teams to leverage Accenture’s worldwide capabilities and deliver integrated solutions. Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans tailored for Market Unit, leveraging Accenture’s global expertise and local insights. Position Accenture as a security innovator by sharing insights on emerging threats, regulatory trends, and AI‑driven security solutions. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity sales and origination or business development with a proven track record of closing multi‑tower deals. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity solutions, functional and technical experience required with a strong understanding of core cybersecurity services that are critical to Midmarket—SOC, MDR, Identity Protection, Network Security, Zero Trust, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and AI‑driven security solutions. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience. Exceptional communication, deal‑shaping, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with Mid‑size companies. Ability to work effectively across USA and global teams to deliver seamless client experiences. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent. Travel Requirements Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements. Compensation and Benefits Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
