We are seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the in-house rehab team! *PRN also available. Must have 1 year of experience with ASHA ceritfication.

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents with complex speech, language, and swallowing disorders. About the Role:

• As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, including cognitive-communication disorders, apraxia, and dysarthria.
• You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, cognitive functions, and swallowing abilities.
• You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for our residents.
• You will participate in team meetings, family conferences, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' speech, language, and swallowing functions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing deficits.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including speech therapy, language therapy, and swallowing therapy.
• Participate in interprofessional collaboration to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document resident progress and outcomes in accordance with center policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
