Your work directly impacts patient access to care, provider workflow efficiency, and the overall experience of our clinics.In this role, you will coordinate patient scheduling, respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy, and ensure appointment accuracy based on provider preferences and clinical needs. You will play a critical part in maintaining efficient scheduling operations while upholding compliance standards and delivering exceptional service.This is a high-volume, detail-oriented role ideal for individuals who thrive in structured environments and enjoy helping patients navigate their care.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Access CoordinationSchedule new and returning cardiology patient appointmentsMaintain provider schedules according to established guidelines and preferencesEnsure accuracy of patient demographics and appointment detailsReschedule appointments and manage cancellations as neededPatient CommunicationAnswer inbound calls in a professional and patient-centered mannerAddress patient questions or route inquiries to appropriate departmentsCoordinate communication between patients, providers, and internal teamsCompliance & DocumentationAdhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards at all timesMaintain accurate documentation in EMR systemsFollow internal scheduling protocols and quality standardsCoverage SupportProvide cross-coverage support across clinic locations as neededWhat You'll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications2 years of customer service experienceStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced call environmentHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications1 year of healthcare experience (preferred but not required)Experience in medical scheduling or call center environmentsFamiliarity with EMR systemsWork EnvironmentSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/weekShift: 8-hour shifts, Monday–FridayTraining: 90-day in-person training period in TacomaRemote Eligibility: Fully remote after successful completion of trainingWork Setting: Combination of office and remote workPay & BenefitsCardiac Study Center / Pulse Heart Institute offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement benefitsPaid time offCompetitive compensationPay Range: $21.31 – $38.59/hourCompensation is determined based on experience, skill set, and relevant education or certifications, consistent with internal equity and pay transparency standards.Join Our TeamIf you're passionate about helping patients access timely cardiac care and thrive in a structured, team-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you.
