This role operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your chosen location. Our clinicians leverage technology to provide high-quality care while maintaining a flexible work-life balance, with typical hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to assist clients in achieving relaxation and improved emotional health.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals to customize mindfulness practices accordingly.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at increasing self-awareness and promoting emotional resilience.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness and stress management, offering clients tools and strategies to cope with daily life challenges.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, carefully tailoring approaches to meet each client's unique mental health needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive treatment strategy, integrating mindfulness practices within broader therapeutic frameworks.

• Document client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans meticulously to support continuity of care and adapt strategies as necessary.

• Participate in personal mindfulness practice and continuous professional development to enhance your expertise in MBSR and related methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health concerns. By focusing on mindfulness techniques, you will empower these individuals to gain better control over their emotional well-being. Our diverse client base ranges from young adults to older populations, each with unique backgrounds and challenges, providing a rich tapestry of experiences that will enhance your practice.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in Maryland.

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in mindfulness-based therapeutic practices are highly desired, facilitating effective interventions for clients.

• Exceptional communication skills and a client-centered approach that fosters a supportive, empathetic therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Completed training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or other mindfulness modalities is preferred, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer:
