Registered Nurse / Scrub Tech - Surgery
Location: Elko, NV
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 07:00 - 15:30
Job Description: Join our dynamic surgical team as a Registered Nurse or Scrub Tech. This position plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive surgical services across various specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GYN, OB, Ophthalmology, Urology, and Podiatry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care while adhering to best practices in surgical settings.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and medical staff in a dynamic operating room environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist in anesthesia administration as required.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced surgical equipment including Stryker towers, Medtronic tools, and Olympus scopes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical nursing or as a scrub tech.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CST preferred.
- Experience in Orthopedic, GYN, ENT, and Endoscopic procedures is highly preferred.
