Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in the Azure data ecosystem to build, optimize, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Python, PySpark, and SQL . You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop modern data solutions that enable business intelligence, analytics, and AI initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, dbt, and Snowflake . Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks to process structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources. Develop data transformation workflows using Python, PySpark, SQL, and dbt . Design and implement modern cloud data warehouse solutions in Snowflake . Develop reusable data models following best practices for analytics and reporting. Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes. Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Analysts, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions. Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory. Support production deployments, troubleshoot data pipeline failures, and resolve performance issues. Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control for data engineering projects. Ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards. Required Technical Skills Data Warehouse & Transformation Snowflake dbt (Data Build Tool) Data Modeling ELT/ETL Development Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema) Programming Python PySpark SQL Spark SQL Data Lake Architecture Data Integration Data Cleansing & Validation Performance Tuning Data Quality Frameworks Batch and Incremental Data Processing Git Terraform (Preferred) Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering. 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform. Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark . Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestration and data movement. Experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake . Strong experience using dbt for data transformation, testing, documentation, and deployment. Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL . Experience working with large‑scale datasets and distributed processing frameworks.
