Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical for our client in Rome, NY 13440. This is a 13 weeks contract assignment with possible extension. Work Schedule: Night 3x12 (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM). Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct patient care in Med Surg Step Down units
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions
• Administer medications, IVs, and cardiac drips safely and effectively
• Conduct patient assessments and document care accurately
• Assist with wound care and other specialized treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Float to Med Surg units as needed

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Current and valid New York State RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current RN experience in Med Surg/Step Down units
• Travel experience preferred
• Strong IV skills and confidence with cardiac drips
• Proficient in reading EKG strips
• Skilled in all types of wound care
