Production Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Production Operator for a contract/temporary opportunity in Hoosick Falls, NY. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in meeting production goals, and want to build valuable manufacturing skills in a fast-paced environment.

As a Production Operator, you will operate and monitor production equipment, support quality standards, and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient production area. Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production equipment to support daily manufacturing goals.
- Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized 5S work area.
- Inspect work and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Read and interpret drawings, use basic math, and work with handheld measuring tools.
- Perform housekeeping duties and other production support tasks as directed.
- Work varied hours, days, and overtime as business needs require.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $21 per hour.
- Job type: 3 Month Contract with Possible extension
- Location: Hoosick Falls, NY.
- Schedule: 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm ; training on 1st shift - 6:30am - 3:00pm
3rd Shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am ; training on 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean 5S work area and complete housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Read drawings, use simple math, and work with basic handheld measuring tools.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, or a similar environment preferred for this role level.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and use basic measuring tools.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and complete on-the-job training as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience working in a safety-focused, quality-driven production environment.
- Familiarity with 5S practices, production targets, and basic quality checks.
