Billing Specialist

Job Summary This position requires strong analytical and multitasking skills to aid the organization by providing administrative and clerical support. The Billing Specialist will ensure that clients receive invoices and documentation in a timely manner. Job Duties Prepare accurate invoices for multiple customers daily and maintain invoicing records. Deliver invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain physical and electronic files in an organized manner. Work with customers through portals and assist in the purchase order process. Maintain excellent relationships with clients and follow up on inquiries or corrections with a sense of urgency. Anticipate customer (internal and external) needs and foster excellent customer service. Perform required tasks during the month‑end closing process and audits. Partner with other organizational groups to achieve the goal of best‑in‑class service. Perform other administrative duties as needed. Requirements 3+ years of experience in billing/accounts receivable (preferred). Experience in the waste industry is preferred, but not required. Understanding of the billing process. Regular attendance at the worksite is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe; experience with Acumatica or a similar ERP system is a plus. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Team player with a service‑oriented attitude. Good time‑management and ability to focus and complete tasks. Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
