Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED with six months of customer service experience; or equivalent education and experience. Ability to complete Initial Store Training and pass barista certification (score 90% or higher). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work weekends, regular shifts, and overtime as needed. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Desired Qualifications Knowledge of company policies and procedures. Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes. Responsibilities Model Customer 1st behavior and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Promote and follow company initiatives. Answer customer questions and suggest products to meet sales goals. Maintain cleanliness of customer service area and equipment. Prepare a variety of beverage orders (espresso, Coffee of the Day, etc.) to standard. Follow store policies and procedures. Perform cleaning tasks per duty rosters and standards. Follow merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing standards for all products. Follow cash handling and register policies. Follow inventory stocking and recording guidelines. Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments. Manage conflict in a nonconfrontational, cooperative manner. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues. Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults when interacting directly.
