Your Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations, order relevant diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or functioning independently as per your credentials
• Guide patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and effective disease management strategies
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies in line with your practice scope
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic care management to ensure continuity of care
• Work in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately document all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
