Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and surgical pediatric patients in a 26-bed PICU setting
• Manage patient assignments at a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity pediatric care
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation protocols and departmental standards
• Fulfill every-other-weekend and holiday rotation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of PICU or CVICU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CVICU background strongly preferred
• Experience caring for critically ill or post-surgical pediatric populations
