Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Care Center unit within a large, high-acuity Level 1 trauma center
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend commitment of 4 shifts per month required
• Block scheduling not approved by most units
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience required
• Prior experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma hospitals required
• Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals is not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care in a high-pressure, high-volume inner-city trauma environment managing complex and critical cases
• Candidates must demonstrate proven success handling large-scale trauma and fast-paced critical situations
• Conditional compliance accepted for credentialing that is verified to be in process
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as the travel rate
