DOL2Go Licensing Services Representative (LSR3)

Job Overview Position: DOL2Go Licensing Services Representative (Mobile Unit) Location: Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce, and Thurston counties. The role requires statewide travel and in-person attendance at community DOL2Go events. This position is only available to current DOL employees. Responsibilities Oversee and supervise mobile licensing unit (DOL2Go) events and support the LSR4 to coordinate the events. Coordinate and administer licensing operations and mobile unit activities, including site security, staff scheduling, recordkeeping, and compliance with procedures. Communicate with facilities, information services, and the DOL2Go Supervisors, Licensing Service Manager (LSM 1) on all maintenance or equipment requests. Ensure the validity of customer qualifications (physical, medical and visual) for licensing issuance. Explain driver licensing programs, services, and regulations. Perform licensing transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and follow established procedures. Generate positive impact in communities statewide by delivering essential licensing services where residents live and work. Qualifications One (1) year of experience as a Licensing Services Representative 2 (LSR 2). OR five (5) years of experience issuing driver licenses or vehicle titles and registrations to the public. Two (2) years of relevant education may substitute one year of experience. Experience Must Include U.S. citizenship. Valid Washington state driver license and five (5) years of licensed driving experience with no restrictions other than corrective lenses. One (1) year of experience handling the public’s money in financial transactions. One (1) year of experience as a lead, including assigning, guiding, coaching, and training teammates. Ability to type at 40 words per minute. Experience using word‑processing software such as Microsoft Word or WordPerfect. Successful completion of Enhanced Driver Licensing (EDL) training. Additional Requirements Of Employment Verified reliability and malfeasance check for the previous five years of employment. Pre-employment background check including criminal record history; information will be considered in determining suitability but not necessarily preclude employment. Fingerprints will be used to check FBI criminal history records; applicants may review and challenge any record.
