Unit Service Technician

The Unit Service Technician provides a broad range of care and services to patients, including but not limited to EKG, phlebotomy, equipment cleaning, and stocking of rooms under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They perform a wide range of secretarial duties, including but not limited to organizing paperwork, answering the phone, paging, and receiving of Emergency Department patients into the medi-tech computer system. They will provide safe accurate transportation of patients throughout the hospital. They will perform 1:1 sitting when necessary. The Unit Service Technician of the Emergency Department will also assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS] - Generic - HR Only required and Certified Nurse Aide [CNA] - State Specific Certification Board required or Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience: ED: experience as a medical technician or patient care assistant in an Emergency setting preferred ICU: 1 year experience as a medical technician or patient care assistant preferred.

40 Hour Rotating. Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation. Remote Type Onsite Work Location 1153 Centre Street Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Employee Type Regular Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Pay Range $18.99 - $28.21/Hourly Grade SF1135
