Sr. Sales Rep, Vascular - Washington DC

Job Overview We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on 27 June 2026. The position is a Medical Device Sales Representative focused on Vascular products. Responsibilities Consistently meet and exceed AOP, sales budget and account development targets (QoQ and YoY). Develop and execute accurate and ongoing sales plans to achieve sales objectives. Maintain and consistently grow market share across all product lines. Identify opportunities within the current and new customer base; develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and account penetration. Leverage the full product portfolio to maximize sales and share performance. Monitor key market trends and competitive market information, and inform sales management of relevant data and changes. Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas to maintain optimum exposure and effective time management. Effectively manage expenses to drive business growth while adhering to company policies and procedures. Adhere to financial, regulatory, and quality compliance standards and requirements. Identify, establish, and maintain productive relationships with key decision makers, customers, and their staff to drive business and therapy adoption. Drive value in accounts through disciplined pricing to achieve strong ASPs. Use contracts to drive high compliance and pull‑through of all products. Leverage APV, Corporate Accounts, and CVG partnerships to capitalize on partnership and contracting opportunities. Probe to understand and confirm customer needs, engage effectively, and overcome objections. Plan and manage referral marketing resources to drive expected outcomes. Build consensus, gain appropriate commitments, and close business. Plan and execute effective sales/product presentations to customers. Maintain and expand existing business; develop new business opportunities. Represent the company at industry conferences and target specific customers to generate sales leads. Develop and implement strategies to counter competitors. Educate customers to ensure products and features are understood and used effectively. Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints promptly and effectively. Plan cases with physicians, manage expectations, and improve outcomes when supporting cases. Engage physicians in clinical conversations about advantages of Peripheral Vascular products. Conduct all business with customers in a manner consistent with ethics, compliance guidelines, and FDA requirements. Work with internal functions (marketing, customer service, finance, etc.) to meet targets, including inventory management audits and customer service protocols. Communicate market intelligence and competitor activity promptly to District Sales Manager and other personnel. Contribute to the development of a strong team effort. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and clinical knowledge and capabilities. Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products. Participate in product and skills development programs, managing own self‑development. Maintain strong ongoing knowledge of the reimbursement landscape. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years experience, Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years experience, or 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree. Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, med‑tech, healthcare, or life sciences. Desired / Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in B2B or medical device sales, or 2+ years of experience in a Medtronic Clinical Specialist role. Physical Job Requirements Lifting/carrying 20 pounds. Sitting, standing, walking 6‑8 hours a day. Operating a moving vehicle. Exposure to environmental hazards, infectious disease, radiation, and blood‑borne pathogens. Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work in catheterization laboratories. Travel & Work Conditions Extensive travel by car and plane. Ability to conduct company business outside of typical Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm schedule. Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed.
