I opened my agency in 2007 and currently lead a team of five. I've been in the insurance industry for more than 30 years, beginning my career at just 16 years old. Before becoming an agent, I worked as an auto claims adjuster, where I learned the value of helping customers prepare before they ever experience a loss. I graduated from Kennesaw State University and enjoy spending time with my teenage son and our two dogs hiking, running, participating in 10Ks and marathons, and living a healthy lifestyle. Giving back is important to our agency. Each year, we proudly partner with Toys for Tots as a local drop-off location and enjoy supporting our community whenever we can. Our agency offers a wellness program that includes a Crunch Fitness membership for you and a guest, licensing reimbursement, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement. We believe in investing in our team and supporting both personal and professional growth. Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping one another succeed. As an Account Associate for Maria Bailey - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our office through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
