Gumby PositionThe customer experience is very important to us - they're why we keep doing what we're doing. At Goode Company the Gumby is key to making that happen. You understand the fine balance of plate presentation and help provide exceptional service to our customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner. The Gumby aids and support our kitchen staff in all aspects of prepping hot and cold food items. Our Gumby are polite and friendly to guests, and co-workers alike, and understand the importance of maintaining Goode Company's high sanitation standards. You always keep your workstation clean and sanitary, because you know it is a direct reflection on you.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare all gumby items- gumbo, salad, and deserts according to Goode Company specificationsEnsure gumby station is always stocked and ready for ordersMaintain (FIFO)- first in, first out for all food items.Ensure backup supply level are up to parEnsure gumby printer is ready for the day- restock paper and ink if neededFollow food safety standardsEnsure a ready to work station prior to end of shiftRequirements/Qualifications:High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferredPrevious experience preferredTABC Certification requiredMust be able to lift 50lbsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededHelpful attitude and friendly demeanorKnowledge of general sanitary and safety practicesAble to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefits:Medical membership with preventive and diagnostic coverage during the first year (part-time)Access to wellness resources and support servicesEligibility for full medical benefits after 12 months of consistent full-time hours.Food DiscountsWeekly PayrollGoode Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate against an employee or applicant based upon race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, or veteran's status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
