Quick Facts: Location: 725 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 Start Date: 08/01/2026 Duration: 6-month contract (with locum-to-perm potential at 6 months) Shift: 8-hour shifts, guaranteed 8 hours daily, overtime after 10 hours Hours/Week: 40+ (based on shifts) Employment Type: Contract with possibility of permanent placement License/Certifications: Active RN license, CRNA certification required Experience: Prior hospital OR anesthesia experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: Up to $290/hour (guaranteed 8 hours daily, overtime after 10 hours) Additional Compensation: Holiday pay at 1.5x, with no guarantee of 32 hours during holiday weeks Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Reimbursements for travel (flight, hotel, rental car), licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses What You ll Do: Provide anesthesia care for adult and pediatric surgical cases, including general, obstetrical, neurosurgical, and regional procedures Administer IV regional, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Document cases accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system Be supervised or work independently depending on setting (supervised in this role) Support trauma cases in a Level 3 trauma facility Manage 3 5 cases in the main OR and cases in endoscopy daily What You Need: Valid RN license and certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) 2+ years of anesthesia experience in a hospital setting preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and patient safety protocols About the Assignment: This assignment is with a leading hospital in Pittsfield, MA, renowned for its collaborative surgical teams and diverse case mix. You will support a busy OR environment with a variety of surgical and obstetric procedures while enjoying the support of a dedicated team committed to your success. The facility is equipped with nine main ORs and five endoscopy rooms, providing a dynamic clinical setting.
