This position provides professional nursing care to individuals who rely on skilled assessment and treatment. It involves working with a team to support physical, mental, and emotional health needs. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:

• Nursing Assessment: Evaluate the physical, mental, and emotional status of consumers
• Care Planning: Develop and adjust treatment plans using nursing standards and facility guidelines
• Medication Oversight: Administer medications and monitor responses to treatment
• Team Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and share important observations
• Safety Practices: Follow crisis prevention, infection control, and safety procedures in all care settings
• Staff Guidance: Provide direction, support, and education to assigned personnel

• Full-time employment.
• Positions are available on 2nd shift, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a 30 minute lunch.
• Rotating schedule, work every other weekend, and holidays as assigned.
• 2nd shift receives $1.25/hour shift differential
• New hires may be eligible for a $1,000.00 Retention Incentive Payment, provided you meet all criteria outlined in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• May change based on operational needs.
• Overtime: As needed.

Qualifications Necessary Special Requirements:

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
