Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid California CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education is required
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with mild/moderate needs according to IEPs
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records on educational and behavioral benchmarks
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers to support student inclusion
• Conduct and participate in IEP meetings, developing meaningful goals and accommodations
• Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and related service providers
• Utilize evidence-based instructional methods catering to unique learning styles
