Step into an impactful role supporting upper elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for the 26/27 academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Current CTC certification with a Mild/Moderate authorization (required)
• Experience in a school-based setting, preferably at the elementary level
• Proven track record of creating inclusive, engaging, and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and support personnel

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized academic instruction to an upper elementary Special Day Class (SDC) caseload
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Adapt general curriculum to meet students’ individual learning needs
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture that promotes student independence and success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to support students’ holistic development
• Maintain accurate records, conduct assessments, and participate in team meetings
• Attend professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education
