Job Summary CT Tech Full‑time, Contract In‑Office | Fort Bragg, CA, United States 25 week contract/4 10's. Mid Shift M - TH; 11am to 9:30pm 4 x 10s. IV, BLS, CT required. 3 years of experience. Traveler will be doing Xray and CT scanning. No call. Job Summary Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Job Requirements Education and Work Experience: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology. Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT). Required: Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice. Required in CA Advanced Certification in the modality of CT. Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification. Required Fluoroscopy license in state of employment. Preferred in CA and OR Venipuncture certification. Preferred in CA and OR ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT). Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Venipuncture (IV) certification. Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
