ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong clinical background, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions using advanced medical equipment and technology.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist in post-operative care.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold standards of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an ICU setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Schedule
This position requires a commitment to a 3x12-hour shift schedule, with day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Flexibility in working hours is essential to meet the needs of the unit.
