Assistant Project Manager

Position Summary OCG is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support disciplined execution of federal and compliance-driven programs. Working alongside senior project managers, this role contributes to schedule integrity, documentation control, and risk tracking while building toward full program management responsibility. Key Responsibilities Support project schedule development, updates, and milestone tracking Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements and task assignments Assist with risk registers, issue logs, and mitigation tracking Coordinate deliverable timelines and documentation reviews Prepare status reports and meeting minutes for leadership review Support audit readiness and contract performance documentation Required Qualifications 2+ years experience in project coordination or project support Working knowledge of project scheduling and tracking tools Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines across multiple concurrent tasks Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications Federal or DoD program exposure CAPM or PMP progress toward certification Familiarity with FAR and CDRL requirements Compensation & Growth Certification reimbursement (CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) Structured mentorship from senior program leadership Hybrid work flexibility Defined progression toward Project Manager roles #J-18808-Ljbffr Octagon Compliance Group, Inc
