Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Receptionist to serve as the comforting first point of contact for grieving families and visitors. In this role, you will manage front-desk operations with grace, handle incoming inquiries with sensitivity, and provide essential clerical support to our licensed funeral directors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Greet and welcome families, visitors, and vendors with deep empathy, poise, and absolute discretion.

• Answer, screen, and route multi-line phone calls with a calm, clear, and professional demeanor.

• Maintain tidy, serene, and welcoming public reception and viewing areas at all times.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or front-desk administration.

• Exceptional emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and a naturally gentle phone manner.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and a calming presence.
