Details of the Opening: Start Date: 8/24/2026 Regular Shift: , Weeknight Call: (1 night per week), Weekend Call: (rotating), Monthly coverage varies; schedule provided by the facility Facility Type: Academic Hospital Practice Setting: Cardiothoracic/Cardiac Surgery Operating Room (OR First Assist) EMR/Charting Software: Epic Avg. Daily Census: Approximately 517 pump cases annually (2025 volume) Patient Age Group: Adult Procedures: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement (aortic, mitral, tricuspid), ascending aortic surgery (including emergent dissections), left atrial appendage exclusion, Maze procedures, redo sternotomies, mechanical circulatory support procedures (Impella, ECMO cannulation, IABP exposure), endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), sternotomy opening and closure, chest tube and temporary pacing wire placement Equipment: Maquet EVH System Job Qualifications: Board Certification Required MO license BLS required; RNFA preferred for NPs Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience Submit your resume to us today for consideration and one of our dedicated recruiters will be in touch within 24 business hours.
