COLD FOOD (SALAD) (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Full‑time Cold Food (Salad) Associate responsible for preparing, portioning, and serving cold food items, including sandwiches, salads, and deli products. Location & Schedule Location: 560 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef. Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads in accordance with approved production standards. Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments following merchandising guidelines. Transfers food items to and from workstations, stovetops, and refrigeration units. Stores food in designated areas following HACCP protocols. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains work surfaces, refrigeration units, and floors. Cuts meats, cheeses, and vegetables with slicing machines and knives as directed. Interacts with coworkers to ensure compliance with service, inventory, and cash control procedures. Maintains a clean and safe work environment in accordance with sanitation and safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Previous prep cooking or garde manger experience required. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
