Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

RN - ICU (Oncology)

Schedule: Shift pattern must be confirmed upon submission. Weekend requirement: every other weekend.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed hours: 36/week; contract length: 13 weeks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Preferred: BSN not required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients in an ICU setting.
• Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and health status, ensuring prompt intervention as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products and IV insulin protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient care.
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, central/PICC line care, and chest tube management.

Compliance / Notes:

• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed first week; RTO policies apply at submission.
• License submission without MO license acceptable; must obtain MO or compact license.
• Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing; may be required to shave.
• Modules required prior to start must be completed by the stated module deadline.
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
