What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized nursing care in a busy Cath Lab environment
• Assist with complex interventional procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac cases
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor during procedures involving coronary artery disease, STEMI, TAVR, MitraClip, and more
• Administer vasoactive drugs, sedation, and perform critical patient assessments
• Maintain sterile technique and operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment
• Support the team with hemodynamic monitoring and device support (Impella, IABP, etc.)
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or applicable state
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years RN experience, with at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab, particularly with complex procedures
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate during interventional procedures
• Strong skills in sterile technique, vasoactive drug administration, and critical patient assessment
• Flexibility to float between facilities in Shreveport area

Preferred:

• Experience with neuro, peripheral vascular, structural heart, or neuro interventions
• RCIS certification (preferred but not required)

About the Assignment:

Join a leading healthcare facility in Shreveport, LA, known for its advanced cardiovascular services and commitment to patient care. You'll work in a fast-paced, tech-equipped environment performing a variety of complex cardiac and peripheral interventions. Orientation includes up to one week at the Innovation Center with additional precepting as needed. The unit primarily serves cardiac and vascular patients with staff support from charge RNs and access to state-of-the-art technology.
