What You'll Do

• Provide specialized cardiac care with expertise in coronary artery disease, STEMI, and complex interventional procedures
• Float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier City hospitals
• Support cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Operate and monitor imaging and hemodynamic systems, including Philips imaging, Merge monitoring, and ancillary equipment
• Assist with critical patient assessments, sedation, vasoactive drug administration, and sterile technique
• Collaborate with Charge RN and other team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Adapt and assist with various functions such as circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing during procedures
• Comply with training and orientation requirements, including a 1-week onboarding at the Innovation Center

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active RN license in Louisiana and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience with clinical skill in Cath Labs
  • Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate during complex procedures
  • Valid driver's license for floating between facilities
  • Experience with vasoactive drugs, sedation, Impella, IABP, Laser, Lithotripsy, and atherectomy procedures
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Merge monitoring, RCIS certification
  • Ability to support complex interventional cardiology and vascular procedures

About the Assignment

This assignment supports the Cath Lab teams performing advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, and neuro interventions. You will float between Willis Knighton facilities in Bossier City and Shreveport, providing flexible coverage and critical patient care. The role includes orientation, weekend rotations, on-call nights, and holiday scheduling, with support from a dedicated nursing team committed to your success.
