Emergency Addictions Counselor - SBIRT & Intervention

Stony Brook Medicine is seeking an Addictions Counselor to apply SBIRT techniques within the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). You will screen patients, provide brief interventions, and refer to treatment services while coordinating with faculty and staff to ensure quality care. The role requires CASAC or MSW with at least one year of substance abuse counseling experience; prior medical setting experience is preferred.
