Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Donaldson is committed to solving the world’s most complex filtration challenges. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Dixon, IL facility. Responsibilities Perform moderately complex professional engineering duties in a specific engineering field or area of specialization. Participate in optimization, methods, and process development. Lead technical or specialized applications, products, or projects and research market/technical trends. Coordinate larger cross-functional projects and influence process improvements. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients or partners, as needed. Make moderate improvements to programs, processes, procedures, or systems to contribute to team performance. Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees. Lead significant parts of moderately complex projects or processes. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; minimum 5 years of related professional engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a technical field; proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing projects; strong presentation and communication skills; experience leading projects or project management; Lean or Six Sigma experience; aerospace knowledge/experience; industrial or machine automation experience; experience with FEA, preferably ANSYS. Salary and Benefits Annual salary range: $86,200 - $125,580. Benefits include health benefits, retirement plan (401(k)), paid time off, paid leaves (including paid parental leave), and more.
