QA Engineer I

Global Soft Technologies, LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking QA Engineer I to provide information technology, business consulting, and software development/solutions services to clients. The QA Engineer I will work under close supervision and direction of the Project Manager while performing the following responsibilities and duties:

• Design and document test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test procedures based on software specifications.
• Design test cases covering all aspects of mobile device testing on Android platforms.
• Perform test execution on mobile devices.
• Log and track defects through to closure.
• Analyze test results at the story or feature level and provide meaningful reports to the project team.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports detailing current work, issues, and any major schedule changes.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or any related field of study, plus at least one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s). Employer will accept a three- or four-year degree and will accept a foreign degree.

Additional Information:

No travel; no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
