Radiology Technologist - 12-hour weekends

SHIFT: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9am - 9:30pm Job Responsibilities Customer Service – Patient : Act as a customer advocate, strive to better meet the needs of patients and families, respond quickly to parent requests, provide education and information, and offer emotional support as needed. Communication – Patient : Communicate with patients, families, and employees courteously, respond promptly to requests, provide information about admissions, referrals, transfers, and discharges. Compliance : Understand and comply with applicable policies, guidelines, regulations, and accreditation standards; document compliance; maintain compliance with core standards and the code of ethics; ensure work areas are organized and safe. Patient Care – Procedures and Exams : Prepare patients, parents, and families for procedures and examinations; conduct procedures following protocol; facilitate the exchange of patient information. Professional Development : Maintain current licensure and certification, attend continuing education, conferences, and mandatory training; apply knowledge to work and seek professional growth. Support the Radiology Department and other hospital departments to facilitate coordinated patient care for infants, children, adolescents, and those with childhood conditions. Qualifications Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Equivalent; preferred Bachelor’s Degree. 0+ years of related work experience. Registered ARRT (R) or Eligible Registered ARRT (R) within 6 months of hire. Licensed by the Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
