Design Engineer

Focused on designing advanced Data Center solutions, the remote W2 contract Design Engineer will leverage 5 to 7 years of experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and BGP expertise to develop high-quality network designs while collaborating with stakeholders. Key responsibilities: Lead the design of Data Center infrastructure solutions primarily using Cisco Nexus platforms for complex enterprise environments Develop high-level and detailed network designs incorporating Cisco, Arista, and Arista CDC technologies to meet client requirements Create design solutions utilizing Python and Ansible to enhance automation and operational efficiency Required qualifications: 5 to 7 years of experience in a Design Engineer role focused on complex Data Center infrastructure Cisco CCIE Data Center certification (or equivalent experience) with expert-level knowledge of data center architectures Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and broader Cisco technologies in enterprise Data Center environments Strong experience with Arista and Arista CDC technologies for multi-vendor Data Center network solutions Proficiency in Python for network-related tasks, with Ansible experience considered a plus
