Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room

Role Overview: This leadership position involves managing nursing staff in an operating room setting, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff performance, and departmental operations. Key Responsibilities Hire, train, evaluate, and develop nursing personnel to support departmental goals. Oversee staff productivity, assign duties, and manage scheduling, including overtime and disciplinary actions. Coordinate patient care plans tailored to age and developmental needs, ensuring documentation and implementation. Assist in staffing, budget management, and responding to operational changes. Lead staff meetings, prepare communication, and support performance reviews and corrective actions. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a nursing diploma or associate's degree required; bachelor's preferred. 2-5 years of nursing experience; leadership experience is advantageous.
