Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Room - Night Shift

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in an emergency department setting. Key Responsibilities Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development. Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, adjusting to business needs. Provide quality patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, documenting interventions according to policy. Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Oversee staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions, and support staff scheduling and communication. Ensure operational goals are met, including managing staff hours, payroll, and overtime, and making staffing adjustments as needed. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor’s preferred. 2-5 years of nursing experience; 5-10 years with a Bachelor’s degree. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred: Emergency room experience and BSN.
