Mending Within Family Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. As a vital member of our remote staff, you will provide therapy and support to individuals, couples, and families navigating various emotional and relational challenges. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your working environment while adhering to a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. You will have access to all the necessary tools to perform your job effectively, including video conferencing software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and teletherapy platforms designed to facilitate seamless communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your contributions to patient care will be central to your success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions that cater to the unique needs of each client, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other evidence-based practices.

• Creating, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's individual journey and therapeutic goals, with regular assessments to evaluate progress and necessary adjustments.

• Maintaining meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our EHR system to ensure continuity of care while upholding client confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to discuss client cases, share insights, and develop comprehensive care strategies that address their holistic needs.
\n
• Participating in clinical supervision and continuing education opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population within the community, including individuals facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active LMFT license in the state of California.

• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience, including work with couples and families in both crisis and non-crisis situations.

• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and techniques, as well as digital documentation systems.

• Experience in a community health clinic setting is a plus.
