Temporary Patient Care Coordinator

We are hiring a Temporary Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental team and provide support during a temporary staffing need. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be one of the first people our patients meet and an important part of their experience with us. You'll help patients feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their dental journeyfrom scheduling appointments to understanding their treatment and payment options. You'll bring our G3 approachGreeting, Guiding, and Gratitudeto life by creating meaningful connections with patients and making every visit feel personal, positive, and easy.

Schedule (days/hours): Monday & Friday 8am-5pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-6pm

Responsibilities

• Greeting: Create a warm, welcoming environment and make every patient feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Guiding: Support patients throughout their visit, including check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and answering questions about their care.
• Treatment Support: Help patients understand treatment recommendations, payment options and available financial arrangements.
• Patient Experience: Build trusting relationships with patients and help make their dental experience comfortable and stress-free.
• Communication: Answer phones, respond to patient questions and communicate clearly with patients, doctors and the dental team.
• Scheduling: Maintain an efficient schedule and help maximize opportunities for patients to receive the care they need.
• Gratitude: Show genuine appreciation for every patient and create an experience that makes them feel cared for and confident in choosing us.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a dental, healthcare, medical, hospitality or customer-service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for helping people.
• Ability to build rapport and create positive relationships with patients.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• A positive, professional and patient-first approach.

Compensation

$19-$20/hr
