This full-time position will primarily operate in a remote capacity, serving students from a private school in Arlington, Texas. Work Environment\n

This role requires flexibility as it is primarily remote, allowing for a work-life balance suited to modern-day demands. Our School Mental Health Team thrives on collaboration among multidisciplinary professionals focused on student success. While most work will be done from home, some in-person meetings with staff and school personnel may be required to enhance service delivery. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends may be necessary to guarantee comprehensive coverage for student mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, examining personal histories, presenting concerns, and associated risk factors to inform treatment strategy.

• Collaborate with students to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on therapeutic goals, emotional development, and successful integration into the school environment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy, to effectively address acute and chronic mental health conditions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and coping skills in various situations.

• Work together with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each student.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary and referring students to higher care when required.

• Deliver psychoeducation to both students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and local resources.

• Maintain precise and current documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
