Attorney Support Assistant-Liaison

Silicon Valley, CA The Attorney Support Assistant-Liaison is an integral part of the firm’s Attorney Support team and will be responsible for directly assisting an assigned group of local attorneys, in addition to providing global team support with a variety of administrative responsibilities, while working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow). This role will be located in their Silicon Valley office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities Handling daily time entry, expense reimbursement, calendaring and scheduling, managing/editing documents, and travel arrangements Proactively learning internal systems and processes to find innovative solutions to problems and requests Preserving the confidentiality of Latham’s and Latham’s clients’ protected information Generating, editing, and posting client invoices Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains Display professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm Demonstrate the initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus Possess the ability to multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms Qualifications A high school diploma or an equivalent, preferably a bachelor’s degree Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment, preferably Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
