Procurement Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our retail operations, ensuring that we source high‐quality products at competitive prices. The Retail Procurement Manager will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency and drive profitability. Key Responsibilities Cost Management: Analyze pricing structures and market conditions to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. Implement cost‑saving initiatives and monitor procurement budgets. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish and maintain partnerships. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and service level. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet the organization’s procurement objectives. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends. Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with distribution management and suppliers to forecast demand. Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet brand demands without excessive overstock. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with distribution management, manufacturers, store design, and store operations teams to align procurement efforts with business strategy. Communicate procurement updates. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management. Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data‑driven decisions.
