Here is some of what you can expect from being an EMT with us: 

• You will provide professional patient care through supervised assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• You will maintain supplies in the patient rooms and the department.
• You will act as a patient transporter for appropriate patients.
• You will perform unit secretary duties when necessary.
• You will help maintain patient flow in collaboration with the charge nurse.
• You will perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined.
• You will meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation.
• You will provide patient care patient populations 
• You will perform clerical and receptionist duties 
• You will perform duties delegated by the RN 

Qualifications you will need for this role: 

• Current Colorado EMT-B (basic)
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current IV certification.
• High school diploma/GED required 
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification 
• One to two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred
