Your Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing established evaluation tools and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate objectives and extensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions with a focus on communication techniques, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing assessments.
• Work in tandem with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to design coordinated care approaches.
• Provide education and resources for patients and their families that promote progress beyond the therapy environment.
• Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Keep thorough and timely documentation that adheres to local, federal, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of hire.
