Support the social, emotional, and academic success of elementary students by joining a dynamic setting as a school psychologist. This contract position focuses on delivering exceptional psychological services on-site at an elementary school, providing expertise that directly benefits both students and staff. The assignment runs from as soon as possible through June 8, 2027, offering consistent Monday through Friday hours (35 per week) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required)
• Previous experience in an elementary school environment preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Candidates must acknowledge and agree to an $85 CBC fingerprinting fee

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and deliver comprehensive evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention to students in need
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ unique abilities and needs
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insight
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
