Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $33.00 to $36.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable activities, including payment application, account monitoring, and collection efforts. Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and resolve payment related issues in a professional manner. Review customer agreements and payment terms to ensure accurate billing and collection practices. Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection activity, cash receipts, and account status. Requirements: Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer account management roles. Strong understanding of cash application processes and account reconciliation procedures. Ability to prioritize workload effectively and manage short term and long term collection objectives. Experience reviewing contracts, payment terms, and customer billing arrangements. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Qualifications: Prior experience within advertising, media, entertainment, manufacturing, or similar industries. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and secure timely payments from customers. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities when researching account discrepancies. Organized and self motivated work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional and customer focused approach when working with clients and internal stakeholders.
