Remote Order Verification Pharmacist Telepharmacy
Work From Home | Flexible Shifts Including Overnight Use your verification skills from the comfort of home. As a Remote Order Verification Pharmacist (Telepharmacist), you will review and approve medication orders electronically for hospitals and clinics protecting patients while enjoying remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Verify physician medication orders for accuracy, safety, dosing, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing errors before approval.
- Provide virtual clinical support to prescribers, nurses, and on-site pharmacy staff.
- Document verification decisions in the pharmacy information system.
- Ensure compliance with state boards, DEA, and federal standards.
- Participate in quality-assurance initiatives that improve medication safety.
What You'll Bring
- Education: PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
- Licensure: Active U.S. pharmacist license (multi-state preferred).
- Experience: Hospital or community order verification preferred. Pharmacists transitioning from other settings are welcome.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and comfort with technology platforms.
