Quality Inspector

Innovative Solutions & Support

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections using industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Inspect assemblies to IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and support company calibration programs.
  • Review product documentation and verify compliance during final inspections.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate quality data and support quality initiatives across the organization.
  • Help deliver reliable, high-quality products in a fast-paced aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in an electronics manufacturing or electronic packaging environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with military specifications and industry-standard workmanship requirements.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and standards including ISO 9001, AS9100, 14 CFR Part 21, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Working knowledge of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and operating in a Windows-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the aerospace, aviation, or defense industry.
  • Experience performing calibration of inspection and test equipment.
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
