Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort blends luxurious comfort with the serene charm of the Florida Keys, creating an unforgettable tropical haven in the heart of Marathon. This 103-room resort, set on 12 acres with a 2.5-acre private white-sand beach, offers standalone beach houses and garden guest rooms, three sparkling pools, and vibrant dining at Butterfly Café and TJ's Tiki Bar. With a focus on exceptional service and immersive water-centric experiences, Tranquility Bay captures the laid-back elegance of island life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure food presentation and quality meet Tranquility Bay Resort standards before serving.
- Assist servers by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold Tranquility Bay's service standards and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary dining environment.
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting dining areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
